Thanksgiving Fun
Column for the weeks of November 16-30, 2009

As Thanksgiving approaches I thought it might be fun to see how much you know about our national holiday. So for your enjoyment here’s a little Thanksgiving Fun Facts Quiz.

Being thankful isn’t something we should do just one time a year. Ephesians 5:20 tells us to give thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. May we never cease to give God the glory for every blessing we have.

I’ll leave you with a few words from that great philosopher Anonymous:

May your stuffing be tasty,
May your turkey be plump.
May your potatoes 'n gravy
Have nary a lump,

May your yams be delicious
May your pies take the prize,
May your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off of your thighs

Happy Thanksgiving!
