(Otherwise the "Subscribe to podcast via iTunes" link will not function.) Once you have iTunes successfully installed, the link to subscribe via iTunes will work fine.
2) If you who want to subscribe using the RSS link, you can do so a couple of ways:
a) The simplest is to simply click on the link if you are using an up-to-date browser like Internet Explorer 7, which includes an RSS feed reader. (Older browsers, like Internet Explorer 6 will result in displaying the xml code you pointed out below, instead of actually subscribing.)
b) Many people use a dedicated stand-alone RSS feed reader. (Some are available for free.) These users would right click the RSS link and copy the URL then paste it into their RSS feed reeder.
